How we handle your information
This policy explains what information our website collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We've tried to keep it in plain language.
Who we are
Push Analytics is a marketing, CRM and operations agency based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, and New York, New York, that works with businesses across the United States. In this policy, "Push", "we" and "us" mean Push Analytics. "The site" means pushanalytics.com.
This policy covers information collected through the site. It doesn't cover data we handle for clients under a client agreement. That work is governed by the agreement with each client.
What information do we collect?
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the site, we collect what you enter. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, company, website and a message. We also keep any emails you send us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the site collects some information when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar tools described below.
We don't ask for sensitive information such as health details, government ID numbers or payment card numbers through the site. Please don't send it to us.
Which tracking tools do we use on this site?
We use HubSpot, a customer relationship management platform, to run our site forms and to understand how visitors use the site. HubSpot's tracking code loads on every page. It sets cookies that help us see which pages are visited and, if you fill out a form, connect your earlier visits to your contact record.
When you submit a form, HubSpot stores what you entered in our HubSpot account as a contact. HubSpot processes this information on our behalf. You can read how HubSpot handles data, including the cookies it sets, in HubSpot's privacy policy.
We run ads on Google, Meta and LinkedIn, and HubSpot's ad tracking measures whether they led to visits or form submissions. Those platforms have their own privacy policies.
When you send a form we include the page you arrived on, the campaign that brought you and your HubSpot visitor cookie, so we can see which ads led to the message.
We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets its own cookies, such as _ga, and Google processes that data under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
We use Leadinfo, a lead generation service from Leadinfo B.V. in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It looks at the IP address of a visit to see which company the visitor works for, and shows us the company's public details and the pages it viewed. It does not tell us who you are as a person. It sets two first-party cookies: _li_id, which tells new and returning visitors apart and lasts two years, and _li_ses, which tracks the pages viewed in one session. You can read Leadinfo's privacy policy or opt out of Leadinfo.
Which cookies does HubSpot set?
These are the main cookies HubSpot sets on the site, with the purpose and lifetime from HubSpot's cookie documentation.
- hubspotutk: keeps track of a visitor's identity and is sent with a form so we don't create duplicate contacts. Expires in six months.
- __hstc: the main cookie for tracking visitors. Expires in six months.
- __hssc: keeps track of sessions. Expires in 30 minutes.
- __hssrc: shows whether the visitor has restarted their browser. Expires at the end of the session.
- __hs_cookie_cat_pref: records the cookie categories a visitor agreed to. Expires in six months.
- __cf_bm: set by HubSpot's content delivery provider to protect against bots. Expires in 30 minutes.
Why do we use your information?
We use what we collect to reply to your message and set up a call. We also use it to provide services you ask for and send information you've asked to receive. It helps us see which pages are useful, measure our own marketing and keep the site secure and working.
If you fill out a form, we may send you follow-up emails about your request. You can stop marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in each email or by asking us through the contact page.
Do we sell your information?
No. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with others for them to market their own products to you.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as HubSpot for our CRM and forms, our website host, and email tools. They may only use it to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
How can you control cookies?
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, the site will still work, but we won't be able to connect your visits to a form you submit. You can also use browser extensions or your browser's privacy settings to limit tracking across sites.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Where the law requires it, we treat these signals as a request to opt out of tracking for advertising.
How long do we keep information?
We keep contact information for as long as we have a reason to, such as an active conversation, a client relationship, or a legal or accounting need. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. Website analytics data is kept according to the settings in our tools.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of certain uses, such as targeted advertising. Several US states give residents these rights by law. We'll honor reasonable requests from any visitor where we can.
To make a request, email hello@pushanalytics.com or reach us through the contact page, and tell us what you'd like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We won't treat you differently for making one.
How do we protect information?
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including access controls on our accounts and encrypted connections to the site. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
Children, other sites and changes
The site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
The site links to other websites, such as YouTube and LinkedIn. We aren't responsible for how those sites handle information, so check their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on the site.
