Google, Meta and LinkedIn ads

A paid media agency that judges Google, Meta and LinkedIn ads on sales

We connect your campaigns to the deals in your CRM or the orders in your store. You see what your spend brings back, and the ad platforms learn which buyers to find more of.

Free, 30 minutes, and you'll leave with at least one clear next step.

The problems we see

When the ad reports and the bank account disagree

Google and Meta are good at reporting what happens inside Google and Meta. They're much worse at telling you what happened after the click. That gap is where ad money leaks.

The platforms count the same sale twice

Google takes credit for an order, Meta takes credit for the same order, and the total in both dashboards is bigger than what actually landed in your sales system.

Leads look cheap until sales calls them

A lead campaign brings in plenty of form fills, but many are students, competitors or people who will never buy. The platform keeps finding more of them because it was never told which leads were good.

Returns never make it back into the numbers

A store sees strong results in the ad account, then loses a big share of those orders to returns. The campaigns keep getting budget based on sales that didn't stick.

Every landing page is the home page

The ad makes one promise and the page talks about everything else. People bounce, and the cost per sale climbs.

Why do we fix tracking before we touch your ads?

We start with tracking, before we touch a campaign. Google, Meta and LinkedIn all learn from the results you send them. If you send them form fills, they find more form fills. If you send them deals that closed in HubSpot or orders that weren't returned in Shopify, they find more of those. The first job is to connect the ad accounts to the place where sales get recorded.

If you sell through a sales team, that means sending lead stages and closed deals from HubSpot or your CRM back to Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn, so the platforms learn which leads became customers. If you sell online, it means sending orders straight from Shopify or your store to the ad platforms. We add a report that subtracts returns so you see what you kept.

With tracking in place, we build campaigns around your buyers instead of the platform's suggested settings. Every month we review spend against the number that matters to you, in your own CRM or store data. The details of how the tracking works are on our ad tracking and reporting page.

How it works

How we run your ads

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Fix the tracking

We check what each platform is counting, fix gaps and double counts, and connect the accounts to your CRM or store so they learn from closed sales.

  2. Weeks 2 to 4

    Build campaigns by buyer

Account lists and job titles on LinkedIn. Product and problem searches on Google. Creative testing on Meta. Each campaign targets one kind of buyer with one message.

  3. Weeks 2 to 4

Match each ad to a page

Landing pages that repeat the ad's promise in the headline and ask for one action, so the click turns into a lead or an order.

  4. Ongoing

    Change weekly, review monthly

Weekly changes to bids, budgets, audiences and creative. A monthly review of spend against deals, orders and profit, in plain English.

How we run ads differently

Ad accounts look alike from the outside. The difference is in what we measure and how often you hear from us.

Push Analytics compared with a typical agency
What you get A typical agency Push Analytics
Tracking Relies on GA4 and the ad platforms' own numbers Our own tracking tools, so we don't rely on GA4 or ad platform numbers alone. We check results against your sales data
How results are judged Clicks, leads and platform ROAS The full set of business fundamentals, measured against targets we agree on with you at the start
Reporting A monthly report and a monthly call Daily updates, weekly reports and a weekly meeting with you (a presentation or call)

Method Tries tactics and sees what sticks Data Driven Decisions Daily (D4), a daily cadence built over years of client work. B2B clients can also use our Friction Point Analysis
Scope Looks at the channel they run Looks at the business as a system (marketing, sales, operations and data) and digs into the fundamentals of the business
Support beyond ads Focused on ads only Cross-functional experience to support other parts of your business, such as operations, analytics and process

Every agency is different; this is how we work.

What we measure, by type of business

If you sell through a sales team

  • Cost per lead that sales agrees is worth a call.
  • Deals created and closed from each channel and campaign.
  • Time from first click to closed deal.
  • Spend against revenue won, in your CRM.

If you sell online

  • Total revenue against total ad spend, across every platform.
  • Cost to win a new customer, separate from repeat buyers.
  • Revenue after returns and refunds.
  • Profit per order after product cost, shipping and ads.

Examples by industry

We run ads for all kinds of growing businesses, and the setup changes with how you sell. An online brand needs plenty of creative and tracking that counts profit. A manufacturer or a professional services firm needs tight targeting and a link to the CRM, because one good lead can be worth a year of spend. See examples for online brands, manufacturers, construction and restaurants.

Ads also work best when the email behind them works. Our email marketing team builds the emails that turn first orders into repeat customers and new leads into deals.

Channels

Each channel has its own page with how we run it, who it suits and what we track.

FAQ

Paid ads questions

Should we advertise on Google, Meta or LinkedIn?

Companies that sell to other businesses usually start with Google and LinkedIn. Companies that sell to consumers usually start with Meta and Google. Google catches people who are already searching. Meta and LinkedIn reach people who haven't searched for you yet. We manage all three and set the mix by who you sell to.

How much does ad management cost?

We scope it after the 30-minute call. The cost depends on how many platforms and campaigns you run, how much creative you need and how much reporting you want. You get the scope and cost in writing before any work starts.

How long before ads start working?

Search and retargeting ads often show a signal within a few weeks. New audiences and LinkedIn take longer, often a full quarter, because longer sales take time to close. We agree up front on what you should see by when.

What numbers do you judge ads on?

We judge ads on the deals, orders and revenue in your own CRM or store data, compared with what you spent. The platforms' own reports help us compare campaigns. If you sell products, we also take out returns. Read more about ad tracking.

Do you make the ads themselves?

Yes. We plan and brief the creative each month and write the ad copy. We work from the photos, video and customer content you already have, and the scope sets how much new creative we produce.

Do you build landing pages?

Yes. Each page matches the ad's promise and asks for one action. For HubSpot users, we build the pages in HubSpot so leads land in the CRM with the right source.

Can you work with our in-house team or another agency?

Yes. Some clients keep creative in-house and have us run the accounts and tracking. Others have us fix the tracking and reporting while their own team runs the campaigns.

What do you need from us to get started?

We need admin access to your ad accounts and access to your CRM or store, so we can see your sales. We also need your margins or a target cost per sale. Someone on your side should be able to approve ads each week.

See what your current ads bring in

On the call we'll look at your ad accounts and your CRM or store data side by side, and show you where the numbers stop matching.
