Free ad account review

A free Google Ads and Meta ads audit, checked against your sales

Give us read-only access to your ad accounts and enough of HubSpot or Shopify to see real sales. We'll compare the two. Then we'll walk you through what we found on a call, including the parts that are working fine.

Free, 30 minutes, and you'll leave with at least one clear next step.

What is the free ad account review?

It's a check of your ad accounts against the place your sales are recorded. Each ad platform grades its own results. We put those numbers next to your HubSpot deals or your Shopify orders after returns. The gap between them is where most wasted spend hides.

We review Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads. You don't need to be running all four. Most companies send us one or two.

What we compare against your sales records

For lead-driven businesses on HubSpot

  • Leads each platform claims next to contacts HubSpot actually received
  • How many of those leads sales qualified, and how many became deals
  • Whether lifecycle stages or deals are sent back to the ad platforms
  • How many leads have a blank or wrong source in HubSpot
  • If leads come in by phone, whether calls are tracked and tied to deals in your CRM

For online stores on Shopify

  • Sales each platform claims next to Shopify orders for the same period
  • Total ad spend against Shopify sales after returns and refunds
  • Whether orders are counted twice by an app and a hand-added tag
  • How much spend goes to people who already bought
  • Which campaigns bring orders that tend to come back

What do you get from the review?

You get a short list of findings, ranked by how much money is at stake. We walk through each one on screen in a 30-minute call. For each one, we explain why it matters and how to fix it. Some fixes take ten minutes in the account. Some need a tracking project. We'll say which is which.

The list is yours to keep. You can fix things yourself or hand the list to whoever runs your ads, including us. We'd rather you leave with something useful than with a proposal you didn't ask for. If the accounts are in good shape, we'll tell you that too.

How it works

How to share access safely

  1. A few minutes

    Google Ads

In Admin, then Access and security, invite our email with the Read only access level. You can remove it any time from the same screen.

  2. A few minutes

    Meta

In your Meta business portfolio settings, add our business as a partner on the ad account. Give it permission to view performance only.

  3. A few minutes

    LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads

In LinkedIn Campaign Manager, add our person as a Viewer on the ad account. In Microsoft Advertising, invite a user with a view-only role.

  4. A few minutes

    HubSpot or Shopify

Add a HubSpot user with view-only access to contacts, deals and reports, or approve a Shopify collaborator request from us, limited to orders and reports.

Our rules for handling your accounts

  • We never ask for a password. Every platform above lets you invite us by email and pick the access level.
  • We ask for read-only access, so we can't change a campaign, a budget or a billing setting during the review.
  • We don't download customer lists or personal data. We look at totals by campaign, channel and month.
  • When the review is done, remove our access, or tell us and we'll remove ourselves.
  • If you'd rather not share access at all, we can work from screen sharing on the call or from exports you send.

Who is the review for?

It's for any business already spending on ads that isn't sure what the spend brings back. Maybe your leads look cheap until sales calls them. Maybe your ad dashboards show more sales than your store does. Either way, the review shows where the numbers stop agreeing.

It's the same check we run at the start of every paid ads engagement, and the same comparison behind our ad tracking and reporting work. Our ad work for Veiled Collection and Baked Bouquet is judged the same way, on new customers and store sales.

Examples by industry

What we find tends to follow the business model. These pages go deeper.

  • Manufacturing: cheap leads that sales never wanted.
  • Construction: phone calls that never get tracked back to the ad.
  • Ecommerce: ad dashboards that count returned orders as sales.
FAQ

Free ad account review questions

How long does the review take?

Sharing read-only access takes a few minutes per platform. Once we have it, we go through the accounts and then walk you through the findings on a 30-minute call. The list of fixes is yours to keep.

Can you change anything in our accounts during the review?

No. We ask for read-only access on every platform, so we can look but can't edit campaigns, budgets or billing. Any changes are yours to make, or ours later if you hire us.

What if we don't use HubSpot or Shopify?

We can still review the ad accounts on their own. If your sales live in another CRM or store platform, an export of deals or orders for the same period lets us make the same comparison.

We already have an agency. Can we still get a review?

Yes. A second opinion is a fine reason to ask. We keep the findings factual, and you can share them with your current agency so they can act on them.

How much ad spend do we need for a useful review?

Enough that the accounts have a few months of history to look at. If you're just starting out, the call can still cover tracking setup before you spend.

Do you review TikTok, Pinterest or Amazon ads?

The free review covers Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, plus the tracking behind them. We also run TikTok ads, so mention TikTok when you book and we'll say whether we can include it.

Book the call and we'll send access steps

Pick a time, tell us which ad platforms you run and whether you use HubSpot or Shopify. We'll send the access steps for your setup and have findings ready for the call.
